  • WHAT TYPE OF BEVERAGES CAN I PUT IN MY WATER BOTTLE?
You can put just about anything (juice, sports drinks, milk) works as long as you clean your bottle after each use. However we strongly advise against putting warm or carbonated beverages in the bottle, since the pressure can cause the seal to break or the lid to open and liquid to spurt out. Keep in mind that improper use and care can lead to voided warranty.
  • CAN I PUT HOT BEVERAGES IN MY WATER BOTTLE?
Warm beverages are fine. However, we don’t recommend putting boiling hot liquids in your bottle for two reasons: A. We have provided our bottles with a straw. You’ll essentially be drinking a hot beverage through a straw, which makes it hard to gauge the temperature and easy to burn your mouth. B. Extra-hot or boiling water can distort the plastic.
  • MY BOTTLE TASTE/SMELLS LIKE PLASTIC -- WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We understand that the taste of plastic can be really unpleasant when drinking from your bottle. Rest assured that the bottle is made of materials that are 100% free of BPA, BPS, BPF and phthalates, so the taste you’re experiencing isn’t a sign of harmful chemicals. Our plastic bottles are made of a BPA-free material called Tritan. You can find more information about Tritan here. To get rid of the taste, we recommend filling 3/4 the way of warm water and a tablespoon of baking soda, and letting the contents sit for approximately 40 minutes to one hour. Once you rinse it out, your bottle should be taste-free and good to go.
  • IS MY BOTTLE DISHWASHER SAFE?
You can put the bottle in the dishwasher. We recommend placing them on the top rack and away from any heating element. The bottle is dishwasher safe to up to 250°F. Please avoid using high-heat settings like“sanitary clean” or “heat boost”, since these can warp the plastic in your bottle. You can also hand wash the bottle. Please read our Product Care page on our website for our suggested cleaning instructions.
  • CAN I MICROWAVE MY WATER BOTTLE?
It’s best not to as our bottle lids include a metal screw in the cap that will have sparks flying in your microwave. Plus, if you zap them for too long, you could end up warping the plastic. Please do not put the bottle in a microwave or bottle sterilizer to clean.
  • HOW CAN I FIX MY LEAKY WATER BOTTLE?
If your bottle is leaking, check the lid. Remove the rubber seal to check for any dirt or debris, and give it a thorough scrub. Put back the rubber seal into place by aligning at one end and twisting in the opposite direction.
  • CAN I FREEZE MY WATER BOTTLE?
Our bottle is safe to freeze to up to 20°C. Just make sure you only fill them ¾ full so there’s room for the water to expand (and prevent cracking). We don’t recommend freezing the bottle, though you can certainly fill them with ice cubes if you like your water extra cold.
